These lights have a strong light output. The crystal pattern on the outer bulb sends the colors in all directions illuminating nearby surfaces very well. The remote has a small finite set of patterns, which for most people will be plenty. But for the hobbyists it could be easily hooked up to a Raspberry Pi or Arduino and an infinite number of patterns and additional colors can be accessed. With these lights, you can color your house to nearly every holiday or event that you choose.
